The word mindscape is defined as a mental or psychological scene or area of the imagination.
The word –scape that is contained (which derives from the greek word σκάπος) is deliberately separated, because, beyond the meaning of landscape, in its archaic form it would also denote escape, elusion and deliverance.
An invitation to escape therefore to the mindscapes of Zenia Dimitrakopoulou.
Η λέξη mindscape ορίζεται ως μια νοητική ή ψυχολογική σκηνή ή περιοχή της φαντασίας.
Το δεύτερο συνθετικό της λέξης –scape (που προέρχεται από την ελληνική λέξη σκάπος) διαχωρίζεται εδώ σκόπιμα, καθώς, πέρα από την έννοια του τοπίου, λαμβάνει, στην αρχαϊκή της μορφή, και την έννοια της διαφυγής, της απόδρασης, της δραπέτευσης και της διάσωσης (escape).
Μια πρόσκληση να δραπετεύσουμε λοιπόν στα νοητικά τοπία της Ζένιας Δημητρακοπούλου.
